Evening Worship

Evening Worship takes place on selected Sunday evenings throughout the majority of the year usually starting at 6:00pm. At these services you can expect the usual main ingredients of worship through a relatively traditional approach. These services usually take place in the Main Hall at Cole Street with other churches in the circuit joint us. The congregation sit in either straight rows or in an arch depending on the preference of the preacher/minister.

You can expect hymns to be sung either to piano or digital hymnal. Hymn books and/or digital projection are usually used. The door steward and steward on duty will ensure a warm welcome for you at Cole Street. Services generally comprise of song, reading, liturgy, sermon, offertory and prayer.

These services last about an hour.

Some of these services may be held at Central Methodist, Dudley or Woodside Methodist, Woodside. Please check our homepage, notices or preaching plan for updates.
