IGNITE 2019 is happening at Brierley Hill Methodist Church on Saturday 17th May from 10:00am until 3:00pm. There will be worship with a live band, crafts, groups, activities, food - absolutely loads to do for all ages. If you plan on coming along, please let us know via our contact channels or place your name on the board at church. Hope to see you there!

Thanks to everyone who supported and helped at our Sponsored Walk today. We had a great time of fellowship walking round local nature reserves and open spaces finishing with a great lunch back at church. If anyone has any sponsor money to hand in, please see David or one of our treasurers. 

Please note that Cole Street is being used as a Polling Station for Local Election on Thursday 2nd May. Access to the building will therefore be restricted however groups and hire will run as normal.

We have chosen Matilda (1996) for our Movie Matinee on Saturday 30th March at 2:30pm. Entry is free and refreshments and snacks will be available with funds raised going towards church funds. 

Our new, main entrance now features a welcome desk. At this desk, you can find lots of resources and booklets from the local community and the wider Methodist Church. Feel free to take a look.

Our Quiz Night raised around £260 towards church funds. Many thanks for your support! 

Tickets are still available for our forthcoming Quiz Night on Friday at 7pm. Tickets will be available on the door. 

We are thinking about our sustainability at Cole Street and thinking of ways to make us even more sustainable. If you have any ideas or thoughts on what we could do, please speak to one of the Property team. 

Please note that our new main entrance will be the accessible entrance up until our usual Sunday services start. After the service has started, the entrance will then be from the rear of the church. Signage will be up to help you! This will mean that everyone can use one, united entrance.

Please check the church calendar over the next few weeks as different periods of hire are coming into effect. This may alter access points and arrangements to the building. If you need further clarification, please speak to a Church Steward or the appropriate Managing Trustee (ex. Hirers).

There will be a short meeting after next Sunday morning's service, for anyone interested, to discuss roles and procedures for our Christingle Service on Christmas Eve. If you are interested in helping and supporting, please meet in the Guild Room at 11:45am.

Next Sunday (2nd December) is our support service in aid of CHADD. Please bring along any toiletries or Christmas gifts which could be donated to this local project and place them on the chancel steps prior to the service. Thank you for your kind donation - it will be a great gift for someone this Christmas.

Thanks for all of your kind donations for our Harvest this year. All of the produce donated was sent to the Black Country Food Bank where we were congratulated for amassing 46Kg of food and 2Kg of non-food items which is enough for 92 emergency food parcels. Thanks all.

Thank you for your kind donations to the MHA fund. We were able to send a donation of £90 to the work of this Methodist charity. Thank you for your generosity.

Thanks to everyone who came along and supported our Mini Fayre. Around £500 was raised towards Church funds - thanks all.
